CatHi

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 2026-10-27

CatHi plays bundled cat sounds offline. The app saves your language preference and card order locally and does not send them to a developer-operated service.

1. Scope

This policy describes the current CatHi Android, iPhone, and iPad apps (app identifier app.cathi), and the CatHi legal webpages. It does not replace the privacy notices of your device, app store, or other services you choose to use.

2. Local information

CatHi saves your language selection and sound-card order in app-private preferences so it can restore those choices. The selected sound and playback state are held temporarily in memory. The app does not save a listening history.

The current app does not require an account, record audio, or access contacts, the camera, microphone, location, or photo library. It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

3. Network access and third-party services

Audio and in-app legal text are bundled with the app. The current app does not make network requests or upload preferences. The Android app does not request internet permission. CatHi does not provide developer-operated cloud synchronization or backup.

If you obtain the app through an app store, use operating-system backup, or contact support through another service, that service applies its own privacy practices. The current static legal webpages contain no advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking-cookie logic.

4. Storage, backups, and deletion

Settings use the operating system's app-private storage. Android cloud backup is disabled in the app configuration; device-to-device transfer behavior can vary by device manufacturer. iOS preferences may be included in system backups or device transfers. Manage any such copies through the corresponding system settings.

To remove local settings on Android, clear CatHi's storage in system settings or uninstall the app. On iPhone or iPad, Delete App removes local app data, while Offload App retains documents and data. Restoring a system backup may restore saved settings.

There is no CatHi account or developer-operated server copy of your settings to delete.

5. Contacting support

If you independently contact support, the service you choose handles your message and attachments under its own privacy practices. Send only information relevant to the inquiry.

If you obtained CatHi through an app store, use the developer contact or support information provided with that listing for privacy questions.

6. Policy updates

The date above identifies this version of the policy. Review the policy supplied with the version of CatHi you use, because its features and data handling may change.
